Certified Gemologist & Lapidary Instructor · Founder, Gemmate

All classes at Gemmate Faceting Studio are taught by Poom — an experienced gem cutter and gemology instructor specialising in real-world cutting techniques. He has formal training from four internationally recognised institutions and hands-on experience working in professional gem factories across Thailand.

His teaching approach is patient, precise, and deeply practical. Every student leaves not only with a cut stone in hand, but with a genuine understanding of why every decision in the cutting process matters.

How to book

Simple and flexible — we schedule classes to fit you. Just reach out and we'll confirm a date that works.

Choose your class

Pick a 1-day introduction or the full 12-day course. Classes run Monday to Saturday, 3:00 – 6:00 PM. Closed Sundays.

Send a WhatsApp message or email to check available dates and reserve your spot. We usually reply within a few hours.

Come and cut

Once confirmed, we prepare everything. No experience or equipment needed — just arrive and start cutting on day one.
